BHUTAN WIN THEIR FIRST MATCH
Bhutan v Myanmar at Royal Military College
BHUTAN WON BY NINE WICKETS
Bhutan showed that they are first amongst equals with a dynamic nine-wicket victory over Myanmar at the Royal Military College.
When they're not up against bigger, faster, stronger opponents more versed in cricket and with the psychological advantage that comes from playing more cricket at a higher level. Bhutan showed that they know enough about the game to inflict a lesson upon their fellow emerging nations.
Myanmar are where Bhutan were several years ago and they too one day will hand down lessons to neophytes but today it was their turn to suffer. Only a couple of the Myanmar batsmen, Mohammed and Sharjeel got going as Bhutan's quicks forced them all to drive uppishly to the infield where they were snared.
Bhutan chasing 76, knocked off the runs in quick time, Manoj Adhikari having the honour of hitting the runs that gave Bhutan their first victory in international cricket.
