BEST U-19s TO TOUR SRI LANKA
The best cricketers from each country as selected by the ACC Development Officers following the ACC U-19 Elite Cup in August will form a 14-member squad to tour Sri Lanka in November 2007. The ACC U-19 side will play five one-day matches against clubs and the SLC Development side.
"Malaysia have pre-qualified as hosts for the U-19 World Cup next year and another Asian team is likely to join them. We cannot pick players from just these two sides but the tour will nevertheless be good exposure for all those selected," said ACC Development Manager Sultan Rana.
