High-Calibre Level II In KLFive Test cricketers, three national captains and several other international players took part in the latest ACC Level II Coaching Course in Kuala Lumpur in May. Bangladesh’s Habibul Bashar, Sanwar Hossain, Khaled Mashud, Javed Omar were in Malaysia, along with Sri Lanka’s current Manager of Cricket Operations Ashley de Silva. National cricketers from Bahrain, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Thailand along with coaches from Bhutan, China, Korea (by special invitation) and Qatar were also among the 33 attendees. “These coaches are some of the strongest coaching candidates we have seen in an ACC course and I was impressed by their abilities,” says ACC Development Manager Bandula Warnapura.

It has all had to be done the simple way,” says Myanmar’s coach Ashfaq-ul-Islam.
