The three-day ACC Fast Track Tournament has been renamed the ACC Premier League. This League will be played on a promotion and relegation basis to encourage greater competition within the League and for those countries aspiring to play in it.

Hong Kong plays its home matches on neutral territory due to the unavailability of ICC sanctioned tournament-size grounds in Hong Kong in the 2006 season.
